"Maui is my home. Always has been, always will be."
Nick has experienced homelessness since he was young. Today, at Kīpūola Kauhale on Maui, he has a place of his own and a community he can count on.
For him, having that stability has made a real difference. So much so that he believes Maui could use at least 12 more kauhales to give more people the chance to get back on their feet.
"Just because somebody's down in their rut doesn't mean that they ain't going to get it back."
