Across from ʻAʻala Park, next to Iwilei Senior Residence, sits a 45,000 square foot site now home to Alana Ola Pono Kauhale, a community of 43 tiny homes, including 5 that are ADA accessible. Built to serve individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Downtown Honolulu, this pet-friendly kauhale features showers, restrooms, kitchens, and a range of supportive services including case management, security, healthcare, and more. The main entrance is on Iwilei Road, with a secondary entrance on North King Street.
