Credit Unions of Maui and Lānaʻi, with support from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, are helping to shape long-term recovery on Maui by supporting safe and stable housing for wildfire survivors. Their generous contribution helped HomeAid Hawai‘i launch a new division focused on sustaining and stewarding Ka La‘i Ola.
$300,000 was contributed through the Credit Union Wildfire Relief Fund, established by the Credit Unions of Maui and Lānaʻi. A grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines made this donation possible
“This generous contribution from the Credit Unions of Maui will directly impact the lives of wildfire survivors by providing them with a stable and secure environment as they work towards rebuilding their future. We are deeply grateful for their support and that of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, whose assistance is making this life-changing work possible.”
