Kaaahi Shelter

The IHS Kaaahi Shelter serves as a sanctuary for women and families navigating the challenges of homelessness, offering a path towards empowerment and change. Through a comprehensive suite of services including life skills training, computer lab access, employment assistance, case management, and programs for children, the shelter plays a crucial role in uplifting those in need. HomeAid Hawaii contributed to the shelter's mission by addressing a critical infrastructure need—repairing and renovating a deteriorating roof plagued by water accumulation, thereby safeguarding the facility's ability to support its community effectively.
